Autocross this weekend at Pungo with the tidewater sports car club. www.tidewatersportscarclub.com to register. I just got a new alignment on my car, so I should be faster and/or not have a good excuse for being slow. October is one of the best months to autocross since you won't be out in sweltering heat.

It looks like a few of us D.C. folks are going to journey down for the VMSC event on Sunday....any of you going to be present?

NASA is tentatively @ VMP on Nov 20. You want lots of runs and big fast courses, that's always the plan. https://nasaproracing.com/event/1270

It's a long drive to Richmond for me. I am only going to this because the first car isn't off until 12pm.

I doubt I'll get the car fixed in time for anything else this year.

I ended up making it to the VMSC event today and was glad that I did. I definitely had fun and it had been a while since the last time I autocrossed. I'm definitely looking forward to getting out to more events next year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that VMSC gets the Meadow Event Park site back.

Jeff, those magnetic numbers you made me worked out great Much better than dealing with blue tape.

It was nice to meet you 03threefiftyz. You looked really fast. I wish I could have gotten a ride with you. The results are up by the way.

I was in a strong position to collect the fail award for the day going into the last run....a DNF and 7 cones in the first three. VMSC puts on a good event. The course ran better than it walked, but was certainly a bit tight in a bigger car.

Nice to meet you, Steve.

I definitely agree the course drove better than it walked. I would say from all the events I've run with VMSC at that site it was a pretty typical course.

Glad to hear the numbers are working out for you, they are definitely much more practical than tape.

I wasn't able to travel this weekend so I stayed home and ran at Pungo. Finished 1st in class and 2nd overall. The course was short and I originally thought it sucked but it drove very well. I got to meet Adam from here for his first ever autocross event. He did well and I was able to take him for a couple rides, I think he had fun.
