yeah. they'd rub like crazy on the s2k. You need wide fenders to run sizes like that on the s2k.

There is a chance I might be able to make it to the NASA autocross this weekend. I've yet to run with NASA but always heard good things

Looks like I won't be able to make this one after all. I've got an improv workshop on Sunday that I don't want to miss. Looks like I'll have to wait until next year. Hopefully I'll have saved up enough for some new shocks by then.

I see maybe 3 events I could make it to, including 1 pro. When it comes to national autocrosses, I live in the wrong place.

I have strong.....very strong dislike for them scheduling a pro in DC that early in the year.

Me too, that would be the first to get the axe from my schedule.

2012 PAX has been released....can't believe that the "new" BSP has a higher pax than SS and CSP. I figured we'd be lower than both. Also, STR dropped a bit and BS went up.

Also, ouch for XP...

2012 PAX Index

Pertinent PAX numbers: The classes an S2k competed in during the 2011 season...
BS 0.843
STR 0.835
BSP 0.859
FP 0.875
XP 0.898
SSM 0.879

Didn't DC get snow in March of last year? Jeff, I'd stay on street tires if I were you....and maybe borrow a subaru.

Hopefully the ZMax proposed event pans out. Apparently I'm not the only one upset about the lack of right coast events.

At this point I'm thinking of maybe getting a set of STR tires for DD and local, BS tires for big events. Run the Motons with stock springs, add pressure to increase spring, and see how it goes.

It is just ridiculous that they continue to keep all these middle america events. 3 events in Blytheville? Sure..it is a great site, but the average number of participants is less than half what the dover event had. For some reason, the scca seems to see toledo and peru as east coast oriented events. Peru is a ~10 hour tow at least for me. There are several lots that could host another tour within the NY to NC corridor. It is a little more difficult with pros, but still. If you can run three events at Blytheville....pony up and have both a pro/tour at meadowlands.
