Mine has the S2000 specific mounts (which are closer to the edge). The entire side of the trunk is bowed/bent in a curve.

Not a big deal but I would buy a used trunk to mount a wing rather than use your nice OEM trunk lid.

I even bought a can of expandable foam to fill the channels in the trunk, never needed it.

Gotta find a used trunk for the car then. I don't think that those cheap carbonfiber (read fiberglass ) trunks will stand up to the task.

BTW, how did you tighten the nuts on the underside? I tried to be sure they were tight, but couldn't get anything on them. Thinwall sockets?

The trunk and wing that was George's, Skips, Mani's, mine and now Ron's showed no visible deformities.
This is what it looks like now.

inside brackets are reinforced.

Beepbeep's new rear profile.

Thanks, Lou.

The tools needed are 1/4" drive 10 mm socket with wouble or universal joint. My body shop guy enlarge the access holes now for easier access to the nuts and welded a customized bracket for additional reinforcement.

Now on the Shenandoah for testing.
