The flag was the penalty for getting black flagged when I passed someone on yellow . The star stickers was another penalty for getting the car towed in when the key fell out

I got the old differential out with the help of Brenda, my jack man. Five minutes after it was out FedEx delivered the Puddy Mod Racing diff. I'm not going to install it today but I did swap over the mounting brackets. I've got to pick up some break-in gear oil to top it off with. The diff needs about 500 miles of break in then pour in the $40 per quart OS Giken diff fluid. For the break in Ben said to run it through a few heat cycles (around 15 mile drive) and bring it up to full temp before hammering it on the track.

I'll be posting up a differential swap how-to in the near future.

Your how-to's are always a big help. I've used the wheel bearing one, and will refer back to the brake ducting one whenever the time comes for that job.

What happens if I look at the driver list for hyperfest and don't see my name...even though I registered weeks ago.
