Rob - Lou had an off with a student in a fast corner. No damage to persons.

Thanks Rob and George. It was fun, and I improved by about 4.3 seconds over April. Improvement is what I am looking for. There is more speed to be had.

Good seeing you JFO. Good luck at Nationals!

Rob, thank you. I figured 1:24 was respectable but you would be turning a 1:22. The TTC M3's are in the low 1:23s and high 1:22s. Did you do your 1:21 on the old surface?

Of course, the M3s are on Hoosiers and I am not. I see now what you mean about the extra slip angle on hoosiers in T9 would be useful. I am pushing there and wanting more turning than the tires are offering.

Nice, sounds like an action packed weekend. Sorry I missed it Congratulations on the TTB win. How many were competing?

Lou, glad you are ok...it takes balls of steel to jump into a car when novices like me are out there...I know when I was out there I respected the fact the instructor was taking the risk and tried to take it cautiously and not push it but there were still a couple times my entry speed was too fast or something. I was nervous riding with the instructor when he took my car for a couple laps so can only imagine it the other way.

1:22s. Did you do your 1:21 on the old surface?

Yea, the 121 was on the old surface with Hoosiers. My fastest NT01 time was 123.5.

4.3 second improvement? That is huge, did you sell your soul or something?

The only time I have a improvement like that was when I brought a car with 400 HP.

For my helmet I just went to OG Racing in Sterling. Their prices may not be as cheap as online, but it helps to be able to try on the helmets. Sizing varies from brand to brand...it's kind of like trying on shoes.
