2011 Track Junkie Thread
Thanks for the brake advice fellows.
Since I have no full enclosed garage (cold) and in panic mode already, I went ahead paid Ptuning to bleed them for me. Actually they flushed the brake fluids with newer ATE blue so the brake is better now. Although it's not exactly at where I want it to be so for next season, I will do the combo bleed and ABS activation rebleed.
See you all this weekend.

Speaking of brakes, swapped mine out last night and one of the rear calipers took what felt like a million turns to get back in. It was also squeeking a bit. This isn't normal is it? The other one went in just fine.

Its really annoying because I literally just replaced these at the end of last year and haven't driven the car hardly at all this year.

Do the rotor or pads look funny?

Pads are worn a little more on one side than the other, and sounded like they were dragging the last time I drove it.

Slighty uneven pad wear (side to side) is common. Dragging is not so common, lube the caliper pins.

Caliper pins aren't the problem, they have plenty of lube. I am going to test it out tonight once I get the brakes bleed. I could just be imagining things since I turned it the wrong way originally. Either way, I am going to get those rear calipers just in case.
