I looked at 350s too. The only difference between the 250 & 350 is rear leaf spring rates and a spacer to bump up the cargo capacity. The 350's were also more "commercial" with minimal interior options. Towing should be very nice with the 800 lbs of torque the turbo diesel pumps out. This is my first American made vehicle since 1980 and I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality feel and how well it drives and steers (slight under steer at the limit

yes... the turbo diesel makes it very nice haha. thats what my coworker has as well.

well... looks like my track dreams may be either getting closer or further way depending on how you look at it...
in my absence from s2ki... i've decided to buy a new car... which will happen in the next month or so. approved for loan and insurance... just logistics now.
2004 sti built and maintained by the shop i trust with my life Agile Auto 340 ftlbs 330 hp. That being said... as soon as the loan is paid off on the S next year... it will be going off the road.
this is where the complicated part comes in... S will be off the road and money pending after a few years of paying off the STI it will then be time for the decision of keeping the S off the road and building a track car (aka track it as is and then build it) or put it back on the road as a weekend warrior.
unfortunately, i needed something with 4 doors due to the new puppy.

Finally was able to get out to the track this year 
I was at the Summit Main this Saturday. Had a blast!
Planning to get a set of R-comps and make a splitter before next season, maybe a nicer set of seats and HANS...
Hopefully I will have some time to play next yeat with grad school starting and all :/.
