Thanks Rob, I think I'll just work with the XP10/XP8 combo.

It depends how much street the car will see and how sensitive you are to buying tires that wear out the inside shoulder.

Does the fact you have more up front have anything to do with having a rear wing, or more due to the stiffness of your front sway bar?

My alignment settings give the best tire temperatures across the tread and nimbleness for fast lap times. Most people would call my car "nervous, twitchy, unstable" but if you can control the over steer it's the fastest way around the track.
It's not nearly as twitchy when one rear brake doesn't lock up! Should post link of that.

I ran also ran 12/10's at the end. Rear brakes never seemed to be used. I had the same set of pads for an entire season. I never did find out what attributed to that. Fronts were ducted.

Got my rollbar today Just needs a fresh coat of paint to look pretty.

rollbar party soon?

I also met the guy in Danville so I stopped by VIR on the way home to check out the chump car race. Looked like a blast. I have got to get out on track in the near future. I can tell I'm missing out big time.

Yup... party of one.

Those are two words that should never be next to one another unless separated by some punctuation. LOL

Trust me, you don't need to tell me. The install for the one I had in my first s2k was hell. This time should be much easier. There is no soft top to fight around this time. Longest part will be cutting those dang holes in the wheel well. Last time I also put back in some of the rear interior trim. This time none of it's going back in.

Don't mind me... perhaps I'm bitter from missing the track, competition, and my track buddies. I have entertained running TT's in my bone stock, TTF*-based BMW in August at SP.

I found a buyer for my race seats and harnesses, Nick Leadhead16 is hooking me up with some seats and seat belts.
Now I need to take the roll bar out to replace the OEM belts. and I need to get my horn working for VA inspection.

I hope I can get buy without a Airbag. No chance I can get that back in the car and working.

Skip I've been around long enough to know that a lot of tough love goes around this thread. I certainly don't take anything personally. I know we're all one big happy disfunctional family

gfacter what seat setup are you getting now? or just going back to stock?
