Got the awful CEL today. P0301 thru P0304, P0300 and P1399. Misfire from cylinder 1 thru 4 and random misfires. The car idles and runs smooth with no hint of misfiring at all.

I parked the car outside for several days with low fuel (lights on). Moved it up in the driveway this morning for clutch adjustment with no CEL. started and turned off car couple of times after finally got the adjustment I want. Started the third time and CEL is on. Coincedence?

I put BG 44K before filling up with gas, hoping it was just a dirty injectors due to dirty fuel and moisture from parking out in a cold with empty tank. I'm also thinking of puting in Techron but not sure if it is still needed since BG 44K is already in there.

This could get ugly. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Not sure but all cylinders misfiring after running the gas tank low in the winter could be water?

I would fill the tank up with fresh gas, add water treatment and see if that solves the problem.

The gas you get around here (10% ethanol) tends to separate within a few weeks (one of the layers likes water).

If that solves the problem, keep your tank filled and use Stabil.

That's what I'm hoping for, just water in the tank because I hardly drive the car this winter. Definitely a lesson learned here.

Is BG 44k with full tank enough or should I still put Stabil? But if I put Stabil in, can I still drive the car around once in awhile or do I have to drain fuel tank before driving?

P.S. By the way, the clutch feel so much better now and easier to do quick shift from first to second .
