Pete, your "pathetic" life sounds pretty good...

I predict Matt & Lou will be well into the 1:24s without Hoosiers this year.

I'm hoping to get a 1:23 on NT01s and a lower 1:21 on Hoosiers.
For those of you who haven't experimented with Hoosiers or are going to do so in the near future, I'd like to give a little advice. Y'all can take it for what it's worth.

When stepping up from RA-1-type tires to R6's or A6's, you know the tires are capable of more. In order to take full advantage of the add'l potential, you're gonna wanna stiffen things up a bit(in line with Rob's recent tendencies I suppose ). Can you run grippier tires on the same suspension settings? Of course. Will you optimize the great tires? Most likely not.

Oooooh, my special place is starting to feel funny again...
Someone's been taking too many little blue pills.

Mani and TN Rob,

I'm going to MidO for the August race to practice for Nats and I will be there in Sept.

I know they have a big E30 class but don't know about 3.

The first MidA race for me will be April as it is too cold for racing in Feb and March, I'll spend my money in the spring/summer months.

So Matt, we expect you to Rip off 1:25's.

We will be timing you.

Not too much pressure for you now.
Actually, that's my goal. I figure with the suspension, wing, and a wee bit more courage it should be possible.

You will get there, running with the instructor groups and instructing will get you a lot more track time. That will give you more confidence to go faster.

I am hoping for that result. I intend to be like Rob and live at SP as much as possible this year. Of course I have no hardtop, so that will slow me down some. But hey, I have no timing device either, so I really won't know how I am doing, except for what the GoPro shows me. (or if I can pass Matt and he is timing himself :-) )

Hey, instructor types.

Never got an answer from a couple of pages ago. Are unmatched seats ok as long as both are FIA, and have matching harnesses? I figure yes, but I wouldn't want to unintentionally show up looking like a jerk.
