Not yet. autox4u.com will post them when available. My class was all "BB" and is all about power to weight, and tires are not factored, so although I think we may have out paxed BS and whatever other class cars were with us, the top STR prepped car is likely going to be 4th in class.

Dude, I know. My Z4 sway bar was like $250. $400 for the set.

I don't see much advantage in getting the rear Gendron sway, but the front is probably gonna be worth it. I would even say the BB mounts are worth it, but not the rear bar... unless you want to be car broke...

Comptech has a sway bar, as does Ankeny Racing. I think the Gendron is more widely used, and therefore proven. It is good quality too. No problems here with it...ever.

Registration for non season members is open for the WDCR event on Sunday the 6th: http://www.dlbracing.com/Clubs/wdcr-scca/Autocross.aspx?EventID=4798&LMID=47

With the wheels and tires, I'm not trying to spend that much on the bar. Cusco seems reasonable.

Pardon the Noobs question, but how does SCCA work... is there membership dues + a fee for each event? If so, what does it usually run?

Essentially you can do either of the following: (A) get a season membership and get a season reserved number, the practice event, and a it works out to a discount if you attend all events, plus magazine, SCCA discounts and some other stuff, or (B) go a la carte and pay for each event, but there is then a membership fee of $20 or so that attaches to each event. If you were to do only sporadic events it might be cheaper to go with option (B).

Personally I went with option B my first year since it was all new, and I wasn't even sure what the deal was. Once I was hooked, I have been a member since.

The new lot is still the best locally, but the old lot we had at Fedex Field was incredible.

Cumberland Icebreaker (May 5-6th):

Anyone going? I know it's short notice, but wanted to see if anyone else is going... looks like they only have ~30 entrants, so far (online, that is).

That's a good one to go to. Nice drive up as well. I cannot make it, but if I were free I would go.
