Glen Burnie. I have to get closer to work! And a garage.
The down side is more delay to building the S2000. I have roll bar money but I am trying to decide whether I go Hard Dog now, or continue saving for a hard top so I can do what Pete did with the half cage. Decisions...

true!
At this point I am thinking Spec Miata. The fuel was only part of the issue. $250 brake pads every 2 events, tires every 3-4 events, the stuff that broke because that car was never meant to have that amount of power $$$$$. It was fun as hell, but too rich for my blood.
The main reason for the switch now is just how fast the Integra is. 150mph is fun, but a cage is a must. And it needs a wing, and a LSD, and I want better seats, and more boost, and wider wheels... If I am going to go through te process of a cage, it might as well be in a car that can be raced when I get to that point. Miatas are cheap investments and being a spec series means I won't be able to dream about all of the parts that I would want for it.
Parting this car out is going fairly well. Almost all of the expensive stuff is "sold" (spoken for and a price agreed on, but no money has traded hands yet). Should be able to pick up a car in the next few months and get started on the cage. I have a lot of reading up to do on the SM forums.

Signing off!I have to regretfully inform every one that I will be signing off for a while. Due to health reason and my pending retirement, all my focus will be on those things and other related issues that goes with it. I will not go away but I will be completely inactive in our community for a while until I'm back on track with my other issues. I will be just updating my for sale thread.
Matt and Jim, I apologize for not being able to get with you guys early on this year to give the front rotors that I owe. I have them since February but never had a chance to meet either of you at the track. I will try to meet both of you on your next Summit Point event or you can text me at 571-435-2334 to meet some where else at your convenience.
Kevin, I will get with you this week to pick up those Carbotech pads. They may be up for sale also.
Jason, please change my status to 100% not going now. Sorry for the change.
Thank you all for the great knowledge and most importantly a wonderful friendship that you all have bestowed upon me in this community.
God bless.

We will miss you Ron! I hope everything is ok. Don't be a stranger and pop your head in occasionally to say hey. If for whatever reason you can't get the Carbotechs now, I understand.
