There has been no promise of when these will be released and hardly any new info. My best guess is it's at least 2013 before we see more if we do at all. Last time around it took them a good 6 months longer than originally anticipated. I have no reason to believe it'll be any different this time.

I'll second what most of the experienced guys here have stated. Wheels should be 17x9 with a 55 to 63mm offset. Tires can be 255/40 or 245/40. Ducting allows your rotors to live longer before cracking. Without ducts, I sometimes get 2 weekends out of a front set of rotors before they blow up.

I personally don't like 949 wheels. The are nice, cheap and fit well BUT they tend to make a couple production runs or two and then stop making the wheel. If you need a replacement later on, you are out of luck.

Rob et. al.

I need to get my FD aligned next weekend as a result of a part install. What track/street specs do you recommend?

Petit racing is recommending:

Front
Toe 0
Camber -.9
Caster 6*

Rear
Toe 1/16 in
Camber -.5

Thoughts? It's a weekend toy/track day car. I use street tires 100% of the time and don't plan on adding R-comps anytime soon.

-.9 degrees of camber seems small but I haven't messed with an FD in 11 years. I would ask the real FD guys for their recommendation.

more progress

the cage will be a gray color. Its a textured finish paint that does an amazing job of hiding drips.

The cage looks great Matt. A gray cage will cut down on glare and reflections.
