I was about to get some gauges and install them but decided to hold off. I was going to get two Autometer gauges, and a Mishimoto sandwich adapter with 1/8 NPT fittings. However, due to vibrations on the block, my mechanic recommended routing the oil pressure sensor and mounting on the firewall.

Ready to roll to VIR for a Track Daze weekend. They are in need of instructors, if anyone can make it.
Be safe, have fun, go fast.

In! Whatever day/time works for you guys I am in.

Mounting the gauges and running the wires doesn't bother me. Finding the correct power supply and illumination is what I'm unsure of.

FYI, I'm going to be using Prosport Halo gauges (Oil pressure/temp and coolant temp). Coolant temp and oil pressure already have sensors and a gauge. However, it's beat up and in a non-preferred location. So mine could be simple. Also, oil temperature sensor will probably just be waiting until I put in accusump/oil cooler.

Oleg what beer is your choice beverage?

I will be in too but my car will be done by then but I wouldn't mind hanging around to learn some and assist.

We finally figured out what gauges needed that I wanted for my car and PTuning will be doing all the install for me. I settled for AEM oil and water temp individual gauges, no oil pressure gauge.

I'm good with whatever. I was surprised to hear that Ptuning having trouble with gauge install Ron.
Good thing that you got it all worked out!
Should be fun!

Yeah, it's one of those major miscommunication and thanks to a middle man an understanding was reached. I would definitely need help installing brake ducts in the near future though.

Thanks for the help offer and have fun at the track with your new set up.

First, let me thank everybody for helping Sean and Debbie get collected and Anders for letting us park the trailer at his place. Your help means a lot to all of us.

Everything in the car felt like it worked at impact but I did feel the substraps catch me. When the car came to rest, I was trying to assess what happened and my condition. A great deal of lower back pain and no feeling or movement below the waist. I suspect something was wrong with the sub setup that allowed a little too much movement. I'll have to look at it when I'm up and about. I'm still surprised one vertebra was the only damage. I hit pretty hard.

As for how it happened, I can review everything in my head, but I have no idea why I went off. The first time I've forgotten the camera in a while, so no video. I was following John down the straight, checked brakes early, and started braking around #4. Nothing new. The move I recall is sliding off while in the turn adjusting steering so I wouldn't flip in the gravel pit.

The IV's were all taken out today, the physical therapy has started and the prognosis is good. Turns out that I demolished my T12 vertebra. I'm still at the Winchester Medical Center, but hope to head home on Monday.

Is this Colin that used to drive a yellow Mustang #51?
