Abandoned Yellow AP1 S2000 in Reston?
Hey guys I am not going to give any further details of where in Reston this S2000 is because I dont want anything to happen to it. There is a Yellow S2000 in Reston that has not moved for over 2 months now. The reason I am posting is because I feel a bit worried about the owner. I remember it was an elderly male who was driving that S2000 when he waved back at me as I drove the other direction (about 2 and a half months ago). And yes I am 100% sure this s2000 has NOT moved. I have seen it there same spot as late/early as 3am and during mid day. I would like to find out if this person is ok. It is not parked in any resedential areas, else i would think the owner is not driving it for the winter... which is still odd since there has been several top down days lately.

Its too far for someone to walk to this location.... unless you love long walks on highways.... I really really dont think its parked out there for every day use.... maybe he doesnt have a garage so he parked it there.. But still when i started to see it out there, everyone was still going top down and the sun was shining, so I dont think he parked it there on purpose for extended time, and if he did, he missed alot of good weather days. His tiers dont look like summer tiers either. I still have summer tiers and my S2k is a daily driver even druing those snow days.
I kinda feel bad now that I had brought up this issue on a form. I should have just contacted the Building he parked his S2K at, since they have not towed him yet. I would feel very very guilty if for some random reason that S2K is not there anymore.
Tomorrow morning I will contact the security in that building.

Perhaps the car is for sale and he just parked it somewhere visible. For sale sign might be taken away by an interested buyer to make sure no other inquiries came through. Just a thought.

Have you noticed if the rotors are rusty? If they are, the car hasn't moved in a while. Or if there's a build up of dirt, trash, grass clippings, etc. that's a sign the car hasn't been moved in a while.

I used to keep my S2K parked at the garage at my office year-round since I don't have a garage at my house. It would go 3-4 months without moving at all during the winter. Maybe that's what this guy is doing?
