Default Alignment Help

I'm trying to find out what the:

1. Factory alignment specs are

2. What the suggested alignment specs are for autocross

3. Local (near Catonsville, MD), trusted mechanic to go to for alignment

Thanks,
Don

G. Obadia (333, I think) sent me some of this info, but I lost it. Please help me out!

Guys and gals are using Radial Tire(or something like that) in your area. I know TubeDriver, gfactor, and SweetJ use this shop. I'll be buying my RA1's from them and they do corner-weighting. Supposedly they setup quite a few track cars.

You might want to use the search in the Racing & Competition forum. Also look in the FAQ in the same forum.

Yup but they don't do alignments (not sure about corner weighting). Great place to get and mount tires. Allen automotive is right around the corner (in Silver Spring). Radial Tire uses them for alignments. They are a little hole in the wall shop but they have fancy alignement racks and will do custom specs for $75. I have had them do alignments and was satisified with the work.

don you will need more camber than that in the rear. at least 2.5. also ask for as much caster as possible its about 6 degrees. again go to allen auto 301-587-6755.

1.5-6 f cam
2.5 r cam
0 f toe
1/4 total r toe
6 deg caster

Are they the ones that do corner weighting?

I don't think they do corner weighting but I am not sure. Gfactor knows a Porsche race shop that will corner weight correctly but they charge mucho bucks (approx $400).
