Default Alpine, anyone?

So I've decided I absolutely need to put a head unit into the WRX (05 wagon) and would like an Alpine that's iPod and XM-capable and a nice clear display (i.e. dot matrix or better - not the typical "digital clock" display).

Anyone have a recommendation for a good unit?
Good local store?
Good local installer?

Maybe someone has a used one they want to part with for a great deal?

Thanks!

Alpine CDA-9851 fits the bill and appears to be fairly popular in the electronics forum. I'm looking at a couple of them for the wife for Christmas for her 4Runner and Porsche. Someobody here workl for Meyer-Emco.
