Default AMSoil

Just an FYI for everyone, I changed my oil from Mobil1 10W30 to Amsoil 10W30 and consistently got 32-33mpg with 3 fillups. Had the air conditioning on 100% of the time. The only reason that I opted to do it was that the shop that I take my car to ran out of 10W30 Mobile and I decided to give it a shot. With gains like that, Im sure my engine is happy.

Happy Driving!

Thanks Spa-MC! W1ngman dropped by my house yesterday and he told me about it. I think I am going to try it also as I'm getting close to the 7,500 mile/2nd oil change point.

Is there a website about Amsoil that I can check out?

Well Mike, it took me a few hours of searching, a call to a few firends, a letter from my congressman, but I was able to come up with a link: http://www.amsoil.com/

Amsoil is extremely good oil. I have just started using it in my Formula and it runs better and is also better on gas . I am about to change the S in another month or so. BTW their two-stroke oil is extremely great if anyone has an outboard engined boat. My dad goes shrimping quite a bit and he went from 20-23 gal. of gas a day using Johnson/Evinrude oil, down to around 15 gal. per day while making the same pulls with amsoil.
