If any of you happen to know "animeS2K" outside of S2KI, could you please ask him to restore the photos in this thread?

Chris rarely posts anymore, pop's up once a year or so. I will mention it to him if he surfaces.

Its a shame the pics are gone...that thread has great instructions and info and was very useful for my LED upgrade. The LED thread is here:

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/707...d-dash-lights/

Unfortunately, it references the same thread you mention. A picture is worth....

The job itself is not too difficult, although you do have to twist and contort to get under the dash to lower the column. Use the "Modifried paper clip" I link to in the above mentioned thread to prevent damaging the beauty covers over the dash screws.

You can do it without the pictures!

I would not plan to wait on him. What gfacter said is spot on. He's a good guy - just has other priorities these days. He pops in and then disappears just as quickly. I think if there's enough demand someone should just take new pics following his guide and then you or another moderator edit them into the DIY. Or, copy/paste the text into a new post that an active member can maintain.

I was planning on doing this sometime this winter... If I get around to it before there are pics up I'll snap a few.
