Please don't flame me for this but I'm curious I always see people with an ap2 conversion but never the other way around. Is there a reason behind this? Is it possible? Am I an idiot? Thanks

 

As in ap2 conversion for bumpers and headlights? Or powertrain stuff?

 

The subtitle says tail light, so I'm guessing it's that... The AP2 tail lights are more sought after, and many people think they look better... Also, they're LED while AP1 is not.

 

Sorry for confusion I'm referring to taillights. Can I put ap1 taillights on my 08?

you could but LED's are better and you'd be taking a slight step backwards...

but... if you still wanted to do it, you'd have to choose between the 00-01 and the 02-03 tails... the later have chrome rings around the lens's...

i like the 00-01's better than the 02-03's... i like the less is more thing...

but in the end it just doesn't matter... to me...

Took over a year after I bought my car for me to realize that I had mismatched tail lights, and even then it was only because someone pointed it out to me

 

o, and then... about the ap2 to ap1 thing... i just read about someone doing that... they got a f20c and put it in a ap2 and they got a euro dash (instruments), or some other dash, that showed a 9K redline... it's somewhere on here if you look around...
