Default Any places to get my speedometer checked

Anyone know any places in the NOVA area that I can get my speedometer checked for inaccuracy. Reason I asked I got a speeding ticket and hopefully find a place that can test it saying that it was inaccurate.

I had to pay $40 twice: once to get the initially incorrect speedo reading and another to show I had it corrected.

It's not NOVA, but there is a place here in Fredericksburg. There has to be places closer to you. just check around local garages. They will be able to direct you. And good luck.

Thanks man...I'll try to ask around to see if I can find a place that gives me the incorrect speedo. Anyone else knows a place around the dc area? My court date is coming up soon.

There is one near Potomac Mills. I don't remember the name off the top of my head. I will see if I can find it and post back.

http://www.woodbridgeautoservice.com/

This is a place off of Rt 1 in Woodbridge. I still can't find the information for the one I went to a few months ago near Potomac Mills.

I don't know about them "giving" you an incorrect reading, but they will calibrate it.

I called woodbrige auto service up and they do calibrate speedos but wouldn't recalibrate mine to get it to be inaccurate.

Anyone know a place?
