If you go to any store such as Best buy and buy a Honda wire harness it is very easy to remove the rear speaker wires and install them in the harness behind the stock HU. They go in the same location in the S 2000 as the plug that they are removed from.

You will then have fade control and for about 30 minutes work and about 15 bucks you will utilize the stock HU 4 channel capability.

I have installed Polk audio component speakers in the doors and Polk 4 1/2 speakers behind the seats.

I have also installed a MTX 4244 4 channel amp behind the passenger seat. You will lose about 2" of seat travel to the rear but the amp is very well protected. This will not cause a problem unless your passengers are over six feet tall then it might be a little cramped.

w1ngman has almost the same setup in the bruised banana that I also installed. If you have any questions about the install pm me and I will be happy to help.

So some of you have actually gone with the Lucid Rear speaker setup? I guess you can buy your own speakers for that, What size? I was thinking of adding a four channel amp to power the door speakers, and I guess now the rear speakers. If I wasn't getting a full range of sound then I was thinking of adding a sub, but being in the trunk I wasn't sure how much I would hear/feel going down the road doing 80mph with the top down.

Can you still get your golf clubs in the trunk with the JL Stealth Box? Thank you. Any Car Audio Shops in Northern VA you can recommend, one that has experience working on these cars?

If you try to install anything bigger than 4" rear speakers you might have trouble with the magnet hitting the framework behind the panel. I had originally ordered 51/4" polk rear speakers and they wouldn't fit. Just to clarify my last post I have polk 6 1/2" components in the doors and polk 4" rear speakers.
Be very careful as to where the hole is drilled in the rear panel.
If it is drilled too high the 4" speaker will still hit the framework. PM me and I will show you how to repin your HU plug if you plan on using the stock HU (it is 4 channel capable) It takes about 15 minutes.
