YUP, Dan you should tell it. Just adds validity to my claim that they are a bunch of scamming assholes.

as a flag employee all that i can do is apologize for what has happend to both steve and dan. all i can do is ask that you both note that your problems were with service and service only. as a honda flag salesman i can say that we are great. i do everything possible to make a customers purchase a pleasant one. i cannot control what is done in service and i wish that i could. i did everything possible to help dan on the purchase of his 03'. dan is a good freind of mine and enjoyed selling him his second car. i know feel that i am going to recieve a bad survey from a good freind because of what happened to him in my SERVICE dept, something i cannot control. dan i am sorry for what happened and only ask that you still give my a perfect survey because it effects me and ONLY me. its all or nothing, pass or fail. again i am sorry for what has happened to both of you. i am going to make sure that both of your experiences here are noted. -matt

Matt,
Again, This is not a flame on you or meant to hurt your source of income. You busted your ass to help Dan out and get him a good deal. Its the service department.

Oh yeah, don't worry Matt, I know you are not to blame, and the sales experience I had was awesome! You went above and beyond what any salesman had ever done for me before, you will get a perfect survey!

And I want to thank Matt again, and let everyone know that even though he is in sales, he has ridden shotgun on the servive department for me and has helped me immensely!!!

Hey Steve, what do you think of the idea of asking w1ngman to change your thread title to:

"AVOID Checkered Flag Service Dept. in Va. Beach"

Just to help out Matt a little?

Hall Honda ripped me off during my 15K service, and the service manager lied right to my face, plus they do not know what they are doing. I don't want to go into this story again, but as usual - awesome sales experience, awful service experience.

Hey everyone - I am new to S2Ki, but not new to Honda. Checkered Flag is my family's dealership and I work at our Honda store along with Matt. Matt showed me this thread yesterday and it did disturb me. I had a meeting this morning with our General Manager, our Customer Development VP, and a few of the service writers and cashiers about improving some things in the service department. We spent the most time discussing this thread. We are certainly aware of a few of the mishaps we are having with our customers who really know about Hondas. For future reference (if you come to Checkered Flag again) you can seek Matt or myself for any help if there is a problem - my name is Alex Snyder.

On another note, we at Checkered Flag believe you should drive your S2000 above 5000 RPM - and when I get my first S (hopefully this month!!!) that car will never see less than 9000 RPM! - no matter what my service department says
