Hopefully CF will change things. You guys could learn somethings from other Honda dealerships that are s2000 friendly with good reputations i.e.
Jim Coleman Honda
Ganley Honda
-both dealerships have excellent reputations on this board and make money not only from s2000 car sales but also parts, service and non-s2000 auto sales.

Poindexter, welcome to s2ki and you will have to get together with us sometime. Please see this thread I started:

http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=154286

Needless to say, there are many of us that are not happy with the way we are treated at our Honda dealers. I had a great sales experience, but service has been abysmal at all Honda service departments I have been to.

I don't mean to be harsh, but talk is cheap. How do you guys plan on improving your service? If I may make a suggestion, why don't you host an S2000 Day for all your customers who have bought S2000s from you, your "flagship" car. Maybe give out some Honda freebies, and apologize to us in person and show us how things will change.

We are your best advertising, we S2000 owners and enthusiasts. Right now, I for one am not giving good reviews, but hopefully that can change.

Again, welcome aboard, and please join us sometime on a drive...

I think Poindexter should come out for a drive and bring dad along to ride shotgun. Heck, my passenger seat is available and I would love to have him so he could see that we don't abuse the cars and pass the word onto the service department to shape up.
Even if Papa CF doesn't come along, you're more than welcome to come along for drive. Maybe you should come to Fall Colors.

Great idea Steve! Maybe Poindexter would like to ride with one of us just to see what these S2000s can do, driven the way they wered designed to be driven.... I extend an invitation to him also....

Hey everyone - thanks for the invites! I look forward to meeting and driving with you all. Unfortunately I do not think "Papa CF" (lol) would be interested - he is an Audi cruiser. I'm the only family member who likes to really push a car. I currently am looking for my S2000 and I must say, out of all the cars I've had, I've never been this excited about a car before! I've got all of our buyers looking for one for me and I hope to be in mine this month. If anyone knows of a Black on Black still under warranty, that's what I'm looking for.

On another note, we are aware of the issues we've got in our Honda service department - there is hope for the future! Anytime any of you are at Checkered Flag Honda come see myself (Alex) or Matt, and we can help to make things go smooth.

Here's an update
(1) The problem that started this whole thing... CF charging me 45 bucks, not fixing the problem and blaming it on the aftermarket exhaust, well, it was a loose bolt. I crawled under the car and fixed the prblem in 2 min. It took longer to get the car on jackstands than it did to fix it.
(2) As some of you guys know, I've had some issues with starting the car. I took it to Hall and while the problem was not fixed (b/c the car intermittantly starts and this is not a KNOWN problem, unlike my 2nd gear TSB which Checkered Flag denied) they were VERY nice, and exmplained all that they had done in an effort to isolate the problem. Futhermore, I got a call the next day to see if the car was doing ok and aksed me evaluate my experience with them. Overall, a MUCH better experience than CF.

Strange...maybe it was "Twilight Zone" day at Hall.

Maybe they knew follow-up calls would be the next day, or maybe the staff has changed considerably since my last visit.

Anyone had any serious work done at First Team Honda in Chesapeake? Are they mod friendly? I've been there for a couple of oil changes and have nothing but positive comments so far. No appointment necessary for VA inspection or oil changes. Just pull up, and they're done within an hour. And I'm anal about oil changes. I'd do them myself, but I just want the dealership stamp/signature in the owner's manual for resale value. Anyways, the oil has always been filled to the exact full level, and there hasn't been oil all over the valve cover or crankcase. Both of which I always check when I get home. A+ so far. I'm thinking about going there for my 7500 mile inspection...

ANYTHING would be better than CF and Hall. Of course, 10Blade tands to bring out the worst in every service department so maybe you should just politely ask him to stay away.

Out of respect for Matt and Alex, the subject is now dead and the thread locked. We may consider starting a new thread like "rate Hampton Roads Serv. Departments.
