Default Axle nut TSB?

I tried searching the library for the TSB and could not find it, does anyone have the link to the TSB for our axle nuts? Mine are clicking again for the SECOND time since being replaced/repaired. Time to take it back to the dealer to have them do it again. I would like to have the paperwork to shove in their face.

Any help would be appreciated.

i have the official honda printout saved on my home computer. i can email it to you when i get home because i can't find it on here either.

i took it to Sport Honda and the only tech they let work on the S2000 (Jeff) knew exactly what it was and he'd done it to 3 other cars. but he torqued it to 180 (according to the original printout) instead of 220 (what most people say they've done and it's worked), and the click/pop came back after about 2 months. i'm taking it back for Jeff to do it again. also, they'll tell you it's not an official TSB, just a service 'note,' so they won't cover it. last time i got everything from them and it came out to ~$44. this time i bought the parts from HTG (cost about $5 before shipping) and i'm going to let them use that. they told me parts were ~$17 last time..

Regardless of what they said, it's a bonafide TSB (for whatever that's worth). I believe I have it printed out at home, I'll check after work.

I had mine replaced and then they started clicking again. I just took the car back in or you can do it yourself... just lube them and re-torque and they will be just fine..

new nuts are cheap, the hardest part is probably getting a tq wrench that will torque upto 220 ftlbs... I have one, let me know if you want to come down to Rockville and get it fixed.

maybe i should've done the entire procedure detailed in the TSB.

It's not always the axle nut, folks. Ask me how I know? It may be the hub bearing(s) going, too. And yes, 220 lbs-ft is the torque spec.
