I consider the number of FI S2000's to be small enough to pretty much ignore. What do you think it is, 1 in 1000?

Think again.... ESPECIALLY around where we live...
but whether there are alot of FI S2ks or not... it has nothing to do with what i said in response to your initial statement.

If you want to crow about the fact I didn't say "Unless you're FI, OEM's the best..." that's fine by me. For 99% of the people posting here, your point is pointless because they aren't FI.
And youre still hellbent on thinking that 99% of people are NA... To that i say, open your eyes and do some research, there is a huge population of people in our area that are NOT NA anymore.
Ek9 - as an S2000 'Enthusiast' you may want to double check and even triple check thing's prior to making any claims. Just for a heads up clarification, the Stock Spark Plugs for the S2000 are either Denso or NGK Platinum Plugs, both were offered at $17/each (retail).
Going off basic statistic - it is safe to say anywhere from 20-35% of the Mid-Atlantic Region, that post own modified vehicles. Now, when I say modified I mean more than your simple I/H/E combination - in my eyes, that is stock.
I do agree with you though - as long as you are stock, or fairly close to stock there is no real reason to leave the platinum plugs. However, once you do reach the end of the road with those... why spend $17/each for Platinum Plugs when you can spend $2/each at your local auto store to pick up some NGK Copper plugs. Due to the material, these plugs will force you to check your plugs more often - a task that should be done more often by members with modified vehicles.
