Naaaaaaah. I've been remodeling parts of the house lately, but the lack of a true workshop has held me back at times. So, I picked up a 33-gal compressor with all of the trimmings. Of course, I also had to pick up an LCD for the bedroom, and what entertainment room would be complete without some sort of high-def DVD player. Oh, and a wine cooler for the bottles that have been slowly collecting. Uh, and some tools.... lots of tools... and a compound miter saw... and a table saw... and, oh hell, I like my toys!

 

I bought a CD (Juanes) and two DVDs (Quest for the Holy Grail and Snatch) for under $20 from Best Buy at around 6 PM. I'm glad I went so late - otherwise other stuff I wanted probably would have been there!

 

So, did anyone get shot or stabbed??

 

No, but I did have an ill-tempered sea bass try to shoot me with his frikkin' laser beam.

I was quite surprised this year around. Other than the seasonal hires not really knowing anything useful, everyone (including the customers) was quite patient and friendly. Other than the annoyance of standing in a few lines, the day went by without issue.
