I am in the process of starting my own business. I have the skill, the materials/tools but I need a place to work. I need a space big enough to fit my car into and still have about a 15x15 area to work in. I don't make much money right now and I am not looking into getting a business loan. If you could offer any information about garage leasing in northern va it would be very much appreciated.

your county, may have a small business assistance office. you're in stafford, so it may not, but i'm sure that fairfax does. they should be able to provide information about real estate, business registration, TAXES, and other local issues. i'd check in the government section of the yellow pages, or perhaps a .gov website. i have a small biz in alexandria, and each year i find out something new that i have either overlooked or ignored in the past. you're going to be surprised how much crap is involved in starting a business, once it gets past the hobby stage. if the business is automotive-related, you should check with the appropriate industry association, such as SEMA, NADA, ASE or NATEF.

DON'T OVERLOOK INSURANCE!!!!!
