Default Bwahaha....

Honestly, is that even a word? Faker?

Regardless I came across this and had an instant flashback to the days of the electronic BOV.

dont hate on them... they look very good if put on corectly i will admit i have them casue painting your calipers look like shit. some how they actually keep your wheels cleaner with less brake dust. and so far eveyone that has seen them on my car has asked and cant tell there fake... they like how you spent alot of money on brakes.. as long as you do slotted and drilled rotors looks 100% real! havent had one person ask if they are fake yet!

i have painted calipers and I think they look fine. Of course, i'll let the peanut gallery weigh in.

I don't remember what the original owner paid to have the painting done, but i don't think it was much more than the shipping and combined hours put into installing these.

Not crazy about these covers but to each their own.

One, oem pads dust very, very little. Two, if you're using your brakes hard enough on the street to accumulate tons of dust there are two concerns: 1) you're breaking laws(we've all done it- some don't do it anymore), and 2) you're heating your brakes to the point where heat dissipation is a concern. By covering the caliper you're helping the heat to be "trapped" in the caliper. Not a good idea at all.

They may look good, but it's not very good for the braking system.

I pour cold water on my brakes to cool them down when they get hot.
