they dont have any effect on the cooling prosses. they are only held on with high temp calk. there is no disturbance for the cool just sticks to the outside. i havent noticed the brake dust issue my self my father has them also on his altima SER and he noticed that... i dont race my car like that, i dont brake hard much all. but anyway like i said ppl can hate but i still love them
