I'm rethinking it as well, but as Calvin said, Cale would want us to all keep going. Just make sure you have all of the proper safety equipment.

I just got off the phone with Cale's buddy Matt. Cale is an organ donor and he's being prepped for surgery so he can give the gift of life to many grateful recipients. They are being prepped for their donor organs and when they're ready Cale will go into surgery--probably 12 to 24 hours from now.

There will be a memorial service and reception in Hagarstown within the next few days. When the time and place are finalized I'll let you know.

Godspeed Cale, we'll never forget you.
Hate to read stories like these. I'm sure he's gone to some place better. R.I.P.

Wow, he was an organ donor as well. Seriously Cale is an amazing guy, and even in the worst times, he helps others. I really don't know what else to say, other than i remember meeting him for the first time, I loaned his passenger a helmet so he could take him on track at beaverun. After that we've been to the same track days a number of times, and I remember how happy he was when he started instructing, so he could help people learn to drive better.

Its a tragic loss, and I'll always remember him.

I want to thank Jeff for organizing the impromtu meet tonight to bring us together. The Mid-A community always amazes me even at the worst of times.

Like I said, I didn't know Cale very well, but hearing so many great stories about him made me realize that he's going to be sorely missed and confirmed what I already knew about how great a guy Cale was.

RIP Cale.

I just found out about this...

I have met and hung out with Cale a few times in the past through a mutual friend he went to high school with. A fantastic guy through and through.

Godspeed.
