We got this shocking news on the Vintage forum. One of the good guys is lost to us.

My heart goes out to Cale's family and all his friends.

Wow this is humbling and moving. I went to Summit this past weekend to watch my father who is an instructor (corvette guy). I passed on this news to him and he was deeply saddened and shocked. He had this to say about Cale and I figured I would post it here. On behalf of my dad and I our condolensces go out to his family and friends.

"Hey Guys,
It appears that Cale Kastanek, the S2000 TTC driver that went off on turn one, suffered severe brain trauma, internal injuries and is being taken of life support. Here

Cale was like a brother to me. Ive known him since 4th grade and from then on, were friends ever since. he was a huge insipration to me. always helping me to do better, even though i wouldve much rather taken the easy way out and did nothing. Most of my best memories, outside of my immediate family involve him, and now he wont be a part of them anymore.

Cale, im going to miss you with all my heart. I will never forget you until the day I die.
