Default Caliper Rebuild Question ?

I am trying to rebuild my front calipers and am having issues getting the dust boot back on does anybody have any tips or suggestions on how to get it all back together.

Not many of us have tried this because rebuilt calipers are readily available. I have never personally tried it either.

Yea... That's not a lot of help, is it?

Just a note... I think the rebuild kit is around $20. A rebuilt caliper is around $175.

Use plenty of brake fluid as lube. Seriously.




After rebuilding a set of calipers, I decided that remanufactured with a core return made more sense for me.

Pretty much the hardest most frustrating thing I ever did on my S2000.

Dust covers just kind of streech over, harder with all Honda brake lube. I just remember cursing a lot, I think I might have used something to poke them into the slot.

It took hours, never again I say
