Damn that sucks, I heard Tyson's Honda was decent. Are there any decent dealerships in this area other than Criswell? Criswell is a bit of a hike for me, but if I ever need service I think I'll be taking my S2K there.

Brown's Arlington Honda has done OK by me, but that is a hike for you, also.

Honestly I think it was damaged by the car wash guys. I had asked my service adviser to have the car washed before I picked it up, that was before I got the call about them having to order a part that wouldn't arrive until Tuesday. I was told that at that point the car was in the wash area. I said if it's in the wash bay pull her out because it's going to rain before Tuesday and I'm not picking it up.

So, maybe the reason I didn't get a call was because the wash guy did it and "forgot" to mention it to anybody. Doesn't matter, they are paying for it now!

And yes, same damned place that took my car for a short 3-mile "coffee run" (or whatever) while it was there simply for an oil change. But, I bought the car there so if I want a free loaner, oil changes etc. I need to take her there.

At least it wasn't totaled! (It's all relative.)

Well I got the scoop this morning from my service advisor, and I was only partially right. The wash guys double-parked my car outside the wash bay. A guy driving a van thought he had enough room to squeeze past me and...yeah.

It goes into their body shop Tuesday afternoon.

Diane, isn't this the same dealership that took your car for a morning coffee run after you dropped it off for an oil change?

That's Tysons/Rosenthal Honda for ya. Don't even get me started on how much I hate that place. I've already sworn to never take my car back for so much as an oil change.
Ha.. dont get me started on how much i hate that place. I sat outside and watched them joy ride my car up and down rt7. There was really no need to rev it to 9k and chirp the wheels, when i brought it in to fix a leaking top. It was the last time i ever brought my car to that dealership.

OK picked up the car but OF COURSE it has to go back in next week:

- rubber strip inside wheel well applied by a blind man, apparently, because it looks like crap
- they forgot to remove the door ding
- gap between bumper and rear quarter panel, you can see the retainer clips
- overspray on right rear taillight
- paint on the canvas top
- XM radio antenna wire severed

*sigh*

But I'm going to drive it around all weekend anyway, I don't want to miss another sunny Saturday (minus the summer-like temps, but I'll take what I can get)
