This car is cursed
sorry, i should have clarified, that comment was meant for anyone who would've been quick to post more bad things about our shop. Meaning dont believe what you've read elsewhere concerning our facility. Diane, again, please let me know if we can assist.
geez, reading this one experience would keep me from bringing it in there for work. not b/c of how it happened but how much shit still has to be done to the car after it was "fixed"
good luck diane

I don't make a habit of lying, especially in a public forum. Actually considering what happened I think I've been in pretty good humor about it!
I can't remember a time when I picked up a car from a body shop and it was "perfect." I am a perfectionist, which is bad news for them, but yeah, IMO some of these "oversights" could have been avoided with a little more focus and attention to detail.
But again, they are making the effort to fix it without charge or argument, so that bumps them up a notch in my book.

Got the call at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday afternoon saying the car was back from the body shop and ready to go. I said, "do not make me drive over there in this weather and traffic unless they are SURE the car is finished." They checked and called back and said yes.
The bad news: It isn't finished; I'm still driving the fugly PT Cruiser
The good news: I'm getting a free decklid spoiler for my "continued inconvenience"
I will say, they did a great job on the body work repair, it looks flawless, I just wish they had paid that much attention to all the other issues!

I'm a bit surprised. Of all the business (i.e. $$$) I gave Rosenthal/Tysons, and considering the number of times they screwed me over and stole my money, I never received any attempt to compensate me for my troubles and frustrations.
It's nice to know they are trying to make you satisfied instead of shoving you out the door as another one of their many unhappy customers.
I picked her up tonight, they had her on the right side of the service area by herself and she looks GREAT!! They came through for me on the decklid spoiler and the paint/installation is perfect.
It was a rough beginning but ultimately I left a very satisfied (and relieved) customer. And I even got to drive home with the top down, before the cold weather hits...bonus.
