Any information on the 2006 season? 2005 was fun and I definitely like the CDC community.

If anyone who has particpated in any of our events has any advice/recommendations/concerns etc, let me know. The organizors are having a meeting in the next couple of weeks to firm up what we will be doing in 2006 so I can pass your input along.

I think the stop boxes should be wider to accept a laterally moving vehicle

no complaints or suggestions here Ed and crew always do a great job.

A bigger parking lot would be nice.

Without spilling the beans, we are working on some improvements including:

Larger lot

Wireless timing equipment

Much louder PA system

While striving to maintain 6+ runs per event in the face of rising membership.

Definitely a bigger lot as already mentioned. Is it possible to find a lot without poles or stationary cars? Osbourn Park had both of these. I've seen a few cars almost wreck at a few events there. I was kinda ok with it but I'm just worried about the safety of others - inexperienced drivers and workers. Have you guys thought about making a course big enough to allow 2 cars to run simutaneously? I'm sure that'll help with the crowding issue. Other than that I think you guys did a superb job of running the club this season. I definitely learned a lot about my car in the process. to the CDC administrators

I'll pass this on. The organizers are attempting to work on a lot of the issues mentioned. Our current timing equipment does not allow multiple cars to be timed but that is a moot point since our current lots are simply too small to allow multiple cars to run at the same time safely. We have a 100% perfect safety record over the last 2 years and we mean to continue that.

If we get a larger lot and new timing equipment we can see about multiple cars running. I personally hate the Manassas location, I think the lot is POS but it is seat time and we are the only club in the area that offers the number of events we offer.
