Bowie is by far the best lot CDC has so the event should be worth the drive...I'm signed up in heat 1 and going (I'm the guy that drives the "saabaru" beige wagon), but I'm actually not sure what I'll be driving yet! My car got hit and its in the shop to get some body work done...so we'll see. Short notice...but if any of yall are feeling gratuitous and would let me co-drive with you, let me know

You should try out the R1's. They look llike they'll stick more than RA888/NT01's and should last much longer than Hoosier A6's. I was thinking about getting those for the Redline and autoX events.
If you're also seriously considering getting coilovers for the S, which would mean you'll be out of AS, you should also think about getting same sized wheels front and back. Then you can easily rotate tires too and get much more life out of them.
