What would you all say is your top speed at an Auto-X event? What mods / other items are needed before they will let you run?

you don't need anything other than a helmet, and you'll only need 2nd gear.

Probably won't go over 40-50MPH with CDC.. I think it would be slower in frederick. I've never seen what they do with the Bowie lot, but I hit the rev limiter in 2nd at the same lot in Bowie last weekend with PCA.

Edit.. they do have loaner helmets if you can't get one in time.

I haven't had a weekend without AutoX in the past 5 weeks


Last weeks course was really interesting. There was a semi-straightaway that I kept lifting for to make sure I got all the gates. On my last run I tried it flat out (hit the rev limter in 2nd), did 2.5 seconds better than my previous run.

yeah PCA is kinda bad at posting result quickly.
i thought i was doing well, 2nd fastest time of heat one, but i got raped by antony. i endded with 67.xx
my dad 66.xx
but antony 62.xx!!

crazy good driving by him (or really bad by us hahah)

i heard he is coming out to CDC this weekend to teach everyone a "lesson".
