Default CEL Testing

My DD MY02 4 Runner (4WD - 91540 miles) has the CEL, VCS Off, and VCS Trac dash lights on. I DID wash the engine bay yesterday and its PROBABLY because I GOT something wet, but BEFORE I disconnect the battery and reset the computer, I thought I'd test the system first. I live in Burke Centre/Fairfax ..... Anyone know who does testing for free in the area?

Thanks.

In the Zone .... Autozone .... That's right .... Thanks
Closest one seems to be 236 and I-395.
I'll give them a call to ensure their tool is working before heading out there.

It's probably too late, but if you live near Sterling, I can lend you my scanner. It's a cheapo $30 dealie from ebay, but it's effectively served it's purpose four times so far.

I bought it after getting the run around from three different Advance Autoparts, a dealership, and a Cottman's transmission. Aparently, unless you're buying something, the OBDII scanner is either missing the correct adapter or it's out of order. Oh, Cottmans insisted their OBDII scanner could only scan codes from "the transmission side"...whatever the eff that's suppose to mean

edit: nevermind, I see you live in Burke/Fairfax. I could prolly swing by if necessary. Anyway, if anyone ever needs a scan, feel free to shoot me a PM.
