Default Changing Headlights?

How hard is it to change the headlights on our cars? I read somewhere that you have to remove the bumper to do it correctly. Is this true? How hard is it to do?

I did mine last weekend in about an hour, I can help if youd like sometime

Yes the bumper needs to be removed, and a couple other small things, but its fairly easy once you figure it out, You do mean the whole assembly correct? Not just the bulb?

Yeah, the whole assembly. I may be buying a set of AP2 lights (if I wasn't too slow in getting back to the seller) and figured it would be a good idea to know what I'm getting myself into.

Thanks for the offer to help. I think I'll need it.

Yes, it is not a direct replacement procedure. It takes a little rigging to retro fit the AP2's if you're not using the complete AP2 setup. I can't remember off the top of my head all that's involved, but I do remember just going ahead and swapping everything completely.

Thanks all. Hopefully I'll be able to do this sooner rather than later.

Not yet. The guy I was trying to buy from has a local buyer. If that falls through, I think I am next.
