Default CHECK ENGINE: MAF Sensor may be bad?

So i recently got my oil changed and when I got it back the check engine light came on after about 30 minutes, i freaked out and took it back to the dealer and had them check it and they said its got nothing to do with what they did and may have been a code that had been cleared that came back on when they cleaned my battery terminals. I checked the code and its P0411 which has something to do with the air injectors or intake. When i bought the car it had an Injen CAI on it and my batts been unplugged before and its never thrown and code so i don't think its specifically that and I can't find any loose hoses so I'm thinking the MAF sensor may be bad? Any clues? or anyone in the towson area who may be familiar with the issue have some time to help me figure it out?

According to Honda...

P0411 (secondary air injection system incorrect flow).
Looks like it's pretty common problem and technician should inspect and replace the air pump and the air pump relay if needed.
Check for signs of overheating on secondary air pump

According to Billman...

"I have never seen a s2k with code P0411 that needed a relay or any part at all. I have seen this code dozens of times. Trust me. Now CODE P0410 is a different story.
The pump is coming on as it is supposed to. The ELD is detecting a leak, because of the current draw variation of the air pump.
check your vac line routing, white check valve direction.
One other know issue is the air pump housing burns through on the back side, making a large leak."

After doing couple researching, if you're handy guy... I would start with checking vac line routing since you bought the car with CAI.
Lines prob installed incorrectly.

^^^This makes sense to me. If I'm a betting man I would bet improperly routed vacuum line due to the fact that you used to have CAI.

I've got the same code P0411 showing on my s2k. Went to honda and replaced the air pump and relay to still have a CEL on.It's currently at the dealer right now.I'll keep everyone updated.

I've had P0411 come up 3 times on my car. It's always been a disconnected vac line somewhere. The most recent time, I was SURE I had checked all the lines, and thought it was something else, and then a week later, I finally noticed the disconnected line.

The first time my P0411 came up, I took it to the dealer. They wanted $1200 to replace the air pump!

It ended up being just a disconnected hose. That was the last time I took my car to a dealer. Only way I'd ever go back is if I had some other car with a warranty.

I've probably saved $2500 over the last three years by learning to fix simple stuff on the car by myself. It's well worth the effort.

I've had the same issue after installing my CAI. I had put the hoses onto the wrong slots for the Purge Control Solenoid Valve. Switching them fixed the problem.

When I switched from the CAI to the K&N, I got the same code, and switching the hoses on the PCSV didn't help. This time the hoses had come off the metal tubes by the coolant bleeder hose.

Check the hoses and all the connections to their tubes and see if that will clear the code.

Your problem could be something else, though. I live just outside Baltimore and would be willing to take a look, but all my knowledge on this matter is written above.

Yep its either a vac line issue, or your air injection pump (located behind the bumper on the driver side) is un plugged or broken. 90% of the time its a disconnected vac line.

This code is also notorious for lingering around even after the problem has been rectified. I always opt for emissions delete, which will run you $70 and extremely easy to install.
