Holiday Inn in Rosslyn is the least expensive of the Rosslyn hotels.

 

Thanks cap1, as a matter of fact, I'm on Orbitz and nothing seems to be generating. It's just searching and searching and searching... where is Rosslyn/Crystal City by the way? North West East South? Finally who wants to meet up with me for beer (on me) Weds night???

 

Rosslyn is west of the city, just across Key Bridge from Georgetown. Crystal City is about two miles south of Rosslyn, also on the Virginia side of the Potomac.

 

OK Rosslyn's to the north west... so if I catch a cab, 30mins into town?

 

You mean a cab into town from Rosslyn? Or from Dulles to Rosslyn? If you mean a cab from Rosslyn downtown to meet your guy, it will take you about 20 minutes with traffic, about five without. Penn Ave is only a mile or so from Rosslyn.

OK I found one in downtown, Red Roof Inn Washington DC Downtown. What do you guys think???

 

As for places to hang out, the Clarendon/Ballston area (about a mile up Wilson Blvd from Rosslyn) is hopping these days with young professionals. Then there is Georgetown and Adams Morgan. Enjoy!!

 

WHERE downtown??? Give us the address. If it's where I think it is - In general, you should stick to the NW or SW parts of the city.
