Default Condensation in Headlight

I noticed this afternoon that there was some condensation in the inside of the left headlight cover. As far as I know, they have never been taken apart. The facotry orange turn signals are still in place, but I did buy the car used and don't know previous owner.

Any ideas, suggestions???

Thanks,
Don

i had that happen to my car a few months ago.... i just casually mentioned it to my service rep at West Broad Honda and they said... "no problem Dave, we will just replace it.." i brought it back a week later when they got the headlight in, and boom, it got fixed within a state inspection time....

This is happening with my rear-left light assembly also. First noticed it about two days ago. I would have suspected the front lights would have done this because I cleared the amber lens. However, they have held steady.

Hmmm - for '01 and '02 cars if one rear assemley goes (and must be replaced), I wonder if both will have to be replaced because the newer ones have the chrome ring.....

dkhl makes a good point!

Take it to the dealer first and, provided you're under warranty with your '02, you should be covered for a complete replacement!

It is covered... Give Cliff Webb a call at the dealership... Make sure and speak with Cliff ONLY!! Setup and appointment with him.. That way we can order the headlight and fix those other thing as soon as possible

Thanks guys!

In case you didn't figure it out, I bought my car from Jonathan, aka Gioire. He and Jim Coleman treated me very well. The car is a Certified Pre-Owned and has a great warranty.

Dave,

I really appreciate you taking the time to explain the "How To", but I think we'll start with the dealer since they have a few other things to fix!

L8R,
Don

Well, if you have condensation, then the first thing I'd want to do is get it out as soon as possible.

Thanks again to W1ngman.

I got a hold of Cliff Webb at Jim Coleman Honda and he hooked me up. Thanks to Jon (Gioire), he already new about the headlight and my baby will be spending Wednesday and Thursday in Clarksville.

Thanks to everyone for the input.
