Convertible Top Issue..need local help.
Greetings MA types-
I've got a problem with the convertible top on my MY01; basically there's a few small but noticeable holes around the joists (supports), particularly on one side of the car and there are some surface cuts elsewhere. This occurred during warranty but I really didn't notice it until I took the car in for servicing after the warranty had run out (nice). So, I've got to get a new top and I know I can do that with HardTopGuy for about eight bills shipped (does anybody know of a cheaper way to go original equipment (JDM), but the install is another thing altogether; I've had one of the guys on the site say that I can get an independent shop to do the install for about half of what Honda normally charges, which is around a thousand bucks!!
So, if any of you can point me in the right direction, I would super appreciate it bigtime. I LOVE THIS CAR TOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But then again, don't we all and life is good after all!

You should give Nguyen a call. He works for Criswell Honda. He may be able to help you out. I would PM Zeems (Lewis). I think he has his top fixed/replaced by Criswell. He should be able to give you more details about it.

Please do not contact Nguyen unless you have a legitimate reason on why your top should be replaced under warranty. He's already been swamped by retarded calls by people that want to pull a "fast one" to get something done for nothing by Honda. All I ask is that Nguyen be not bothered unless you have a legitimate reason for work to be done by Honda. He's a good friend of mine and understand that he tries to help out as best as he can, but he should not be placed the burden for no reason. Thanks.
