Default Is there no way around it?

Hi, I've been doing some research and I was interested in SuperCharging my S2000, but after a few calls to the Service Manager at my local Honda dealer, he spoke to someone at Honda and was told that it would void the warranty, regardless of whether they install it or not. Is there any way around this? I have the 7yr/100,000mile warranty on my car because I'm not very mechanically inclined when it comes to cars and I would like to boost up my car a bit without voiding the warranty. Any suggestions, or am I just scrood and have to live with it?

Thanks

I think I remember Rick Case Honda/Acura telling me that they won't void the warranty if they install it. I don't know who you got to quote it but it might be worth investigating.

Either that or throw on Nitrous...it's an easy remove if something goes wrong hehe.

Oh and a little FYI: They cannot, by law, void your warranty due to a modification unless the modification is directly related to the problem. Another words, if you have a supercharger and your fuel pump cuts out, they can't not fix it. If your A/C cuts out or your power steering goes, they can't not fix it. Just a little food for though.

Honda warrantees are about as good as tits on a bull and as reliable as a 90 yr old smoker.

Even on an unmodded, 100% stock S2000, I wouldn't depend on Honda's warranty.

Their philosophy is blame the owner first, take care of the customer second.

I know Fltsfisher (in Naples) has a SC and he discussed it with his dealer and was told that it would not void the warranty. I'm surprised he hasn't chimed in.
