Curb Rash
Okay, so I'm the first to admit that if there is some obscure way to curb rash a wheel, I'm the master. I was parking to drop off a package and found the only broken curb in the city. The damage looked like this:

So, if you've never seen a grown man cry, just try to imagine how I felt...those are my MUGEN wheels!!...I went looking for someone to fix my foul-up. I was looking for someone close and I found Wheel Refinishers, Inc in Rockville, MD. Not only did they pick up the wheel, they repaired the curb rash and returned it the next day and on top of that, they remounted and balanced the wheel. The repaired wheel looks like this:

A tremendous job and the price was reasonable and the service was great. I highly recommend them. I don't have any connection with the company except as a satisfied customer. They have locations in Annapolis, LaPlata and Rockville, MD and in Burton, MI. Their website is here: Wheel Refinishers, Inc.

Excelent. If you don't mind saying how much was it and how do they do their pricing?

I have a funny feeling that fixing curb rash is just dremeling it down the welding a piece back
. These wheels are forged. It's not quite that simple.

I second Wheel Refinishers. About 3 years ago when my AP1 was still in its less than 500 mile break in period, a car wash loaded my car in crooked and the wheel rail tore up my driver's side rear wheel pretty good. I felt sick..
They came to my condo (at the time) and refinished my wheel in the parking lot while it was on the car. I think it cost me $50 and only I can see where the repair was made. To this day, no issues whatsoever. I tipped the guy an extra $20 for his trouble.

Do they not re-coat the wheels or powdercoat them?
