Default Custom Exhaust

Has anyone ever had a custom exhaust fabbed up for their S2000? I had a custom exhaust on my last car and it was a lot cheaper than the aftermarket options and offered the same performance for about half the price. So I was wondering if anyone here knows a good exhaust place that could build me an exhaust?

I would provide the mufflers and test pipe (if the shop would install it) and I would just need a place to weld up the plumbing.

Yes. Most any shop should be able to bend custom pipe. I have used Meineke before and they did a great job on my Impala as well as my Blazer.

InlinePro does, but they only use 3". That's just too big for me... right now. 2.75"(70mm) is all my ears can handle right now. As mentioned, their price for the 3" is just over half what a J's 70mm single costs.

I am probably going to get a custom exhaust soon. What should I ask for? I want a dual setup? How big should the piping be before and after the split? Are the diameters the same on after market exhausts before and after the split or is it something like 70mm to two 63mm pipes?

Also, what shop do you recommend in the NOVA area where I can get the exhaust and buy mufflers from, or do I need to buy mufflers and bring it to them?

And last question, how much might this cost? I'm guessing something around $400, but let me know if I'm incorrect.

I think your questions only raise a whole new set of questions. How loud can you tolerate? What supporting mods do you have or have planned? NA / FI?

All I have is a comptech icebox. I am NA and will stay NA and am looking for something not too quiet and not too loud. Too loud would be invidia or a 70single. Too quiet for me would be something like the Fujitsubo dual exhaust. I know its hard to explain/understand over the internet.
