Haha, nothing is too loud for me. Its too loud for police :-P

I would love to have a t1r, but I want custom for 2 reasons. First reason is that it is much cheaper. Second is I would liek to use two "sleeper" looking mufflers if you know what I mean. Nothing huge and shiney, a pair of flat black mufflers would be the best.

What shop do you guys recommend that also sell mufflers? If there are none, can you guys show me a decent site to order a pair of decent mufflers? Doesn't need to be brand name, but must be decent quality.

Inline and Ultimate Racing can both make an exhaust for you.

Inline does the 3inch exhaust, but I don't see why they couldn't fabricate a 70mm or even a 63mm for you if you asked.

Gotcha.

Magnaflow mufflers and a good custom shop. Look around at maybe the meineke's or even a place that does street rods etc.

so about the piping size

Are dual exhausts one size the whole way, or is it a bigger pipe that splits into two smaller ones.

I'm making a single. I'm using the stock resonator so it'll be 60mm halfway and 63mm for the rest. Cost me about $100 for all the stainless parts and I TIG welded all of it.

bigger piping = less back pressure

just get a 63 - 70'' why would you want 3'' without FI?

I think a 3" n/a will produce a higher PEAK hp number, but lower power in mid and low rpms. Probably worth considering a lower diameter. The OEM does flow incredibly well though, just weighs too much.
