Glad you are OK. What was the condition of your tires? Were the S-02s?

Man, I'm sorry to hear that. Yeah, these cars like to get squirrely in the rain.
Be careful guys!

Hmm? The rear tires don't seem to have much tread in this pic

They look skinny too.

My Eagle F1s are getting worn in the rear and coming back from the 12 Hours At the Point Sat. night, I encountered a pretty heavy rain which made the car twitch in the rear. Scared the shit out of me. I finally pulled over to a side road til the rain subsided.

Gotta get a new pair of F1s for the rear asap.

Well here they are guys the photos from the wrecker yard.

The seats were damp from where they left the windows open. The roof was somewhat messed up, but I would not be suprised if the whole top needed to be replaced. Everything in the engine bay looked pretty good, the front was a little smushed. The rear end looks like sh*t. State Farm picked it up today. I found another S on auto trader that I am looking at. If you all know any for sale can you send me some information please? I prefer Red, Black, Silver, Blue. My limit is probably going to be $20k again.

Thanks for everything guys.

I don't think they're going to total that... doesn't look like more than $12k max. But I'm interested just the same.

Also, there was a 2000 listed in our paper for $19k w/ 28k miles. Interior was red; no exterior color was given.

Looks a lot like mine after my accident. I thought there was about $6-8k of damage, then Spectrum Auto Body said "expect $12-15k", final bill was a shade over $19K. I think they would have totaled it if they knew in the beginning it would have been $19K.

Call Spectrum in Arlington, they did one hell of a job on mine. Ask for Mark, he's the owner and tell him I'm sending another S his way - 703-671-2402 www.spectrumautobodyrepair.com

Keep us updated and good luck.

Do you think there could be anything wrong with the engine? After I crashed and flipped upside down, the car was running upside down for a good 10-15 minutes. I never thought about turning it off before I crawled out. And they wouldn't let me get back in the car to turn it off.
