Thumbs down Dead S2k

Hey guys,

Just wanted to say be careful driving on the highway. I may have totalled my S2k today. I was doing 65mph in the left lane when my car hydroplaned I spun to the left went into the ditch and flipped my car over. They say I got very lucky, that the saturated ground was more of a cushion. I got out upside down through the window. I only had a bump on my head from hitting the Convertible top bar. Be careful this goes to show you that even if you are not speeding its easy to lose control. I crashed just 50-100 feet where two girls hit the guard rail and died last week. So please drive careful it was even raining, I hit a body of standing water. No wI have to go to court in August, the State trooper said he was going to try and get my ticket "Too Fast for Conditions", down to "Improper Driving". Be careful. Later guys.

Oh man, Brandon that sucks. I'm glad to hear you are ok though. Is there any front end damage?

Hey thanks for the replies. No I was doing 65 in a 65. Just all of a sudden there was a lot of water in the road, I remember looking at the water coming up from the people's wheel wells. I landed nose on the far side of the ditch and the back end on the other side with my top in the middle where it dips. So, they think I just missed crushing my skull or spine. I think the car may be totalled. The air bags didn't even deploy though. I had my seat belt on I think that saved my life, besides the fact I was doing the speed limit. But lesson learned. I'll drive even slower than the limit from now on in the rain.
